Overview

The Department of Biochemistry of Vivekanandha Arts and Science College for Women, Veerachipalayam, Sankari, was established in the year 2017. The Department is functioning efficiently with well-equipped instruments such as UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Medical Microscope, Hemoglobinometer, Digital Colorimeter, High speed centrifuge, Hemometer, Magnetic stirrer, heating mantle, Water bath, Digital pH Meter and other basic instruments for biochemical aspects. With a view to develop the extracurricular activities of the students the Department has started a domain to show case the talents of the students by conducting various events. Our department students are achieved the University gold metals and University Ranks in their academic performance.

B.Sc. Biochemistry Candidate for admission to the first year of B.Sc., Degree Course in Biochemistry shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination with Chemistry and Biology or Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Biochemistry and Chemistry. 3 Years 44
