Roles & Responsibilities

The Youth Red Cross (YRC) unit in a women’s college plays a vital role in empowering young women to contribute meaningfully to society, particularly in rural areas where awareness and resources may be limited. It aims to nurture compassion, leadership, and social responsibility among students. The YRC in a rural women’s college serves as a bridge between education and community service.

  • Health and Hygiene Awareness
  • First Aid and Emergency Response
  • Social and Community Service
  • Women Empowerment and Leadership
  • Blood Donation and Health Camps

It not only strengthens the spirit of humanitarianism but also helps young women become agents of social change, health awareness, and empowerment in their villages and beyond.
